These businesses include large data centres, manufacturers, and other high-power consumers.

This makes it more important than ever to ensure data agents can effectively utilise the Advanced Data Service.

Otherwise, there will be a high percentage of estimated data for large energy consumers.

Expensive penalties for some meter types

Under the Market-wide Half-Hourly Settlement (MHHS), data collectors and meter operators must indicate which meter types they will support.

Not all of them are choosing to connect with Advanced meters.

And those that do, can’t always dial every Advanced meter type.

Therefore, you must check which meter types your partner can dial.

If you don’t, you risk missing the stricter MHHS settlement targets and incur expensive penalties.
