Our nomination process allows you to choose Stark for your HH data & NHH data and meters. Suppliers will pass the charges through their supply invoices. It’s fast, convenient and efficient.
Available for both HH and NHH Data
For HH nomination we’ll provide your HH data on Stark ID alongside any existing Meter contracts you have in place.
For NHH nomination, we will take control of the meter services at no extra cost, as well as provide your day+1 data on Stark ID.

FAQs: Electricity Data
Do I need to worry about Market-wide Half Hourly Settlement?
If you have NHH meters, then they will switch to HH in 2026.
We already collect HH data from the NHH meters we’re responsible for, so switching will be simple with us.
You should consider who you want providing your NHH meter and data services now to get ahead of the switch.

What Data service contract options do you offer?
We like flexibility.
That means we offer both the nomination model and direct contracts for all our HH and NHH Data services.
So you can be billed through your supplier’s bill for Data services under nomination or can be billed directly by us.
Speak to one of our sales team to see what will work best for you.
What is an Appointment?
Data collectors like us are Appointed by the Supplier to provide your services. We can’t do anything without that appointment.
It’s like an official authorisation to collect data from your meter.
As a Stark Data customer you can monitor appointments for free in our unique Stark ID Data Health platform to make sure we stay appointed and reduce your risk of having data gaps.
Can I use Stark Data for my HH data if I have a Meter Operation service with another provider?
Yes. You can use our nomination method to use our HH data services and monitor their performance in Stark ID Data Health.
When it’s time to renew, you can move the Meter Operation service over to Stark Connect if you like.
Can you collect Data for my meters outside of the UK mainland?
Yes, but only through our sub-metering service for your energy management & monitoring not for settlement/billing purposes.
