What does a Energy Services Coordinator do?

Stark Technical Services Ltd are looking for a part-time Energy Services Coordinator to join the busy scheduling team in Blackpool. Candidates must be professional and articulate with an excellent telephone manner, eye for detail, organisation skills and have an Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook. This role is part-time (20 hours per week).

Ideally candidates will have already worked within a Customer Services environment and have experience of working in a targeted environment.

Tasks, competencies & behaviours include:

  • Establish and record client contacts and site locations for allocated work
  • Effectively plan Installers appointments and manage Installers diaries
  • Review and understand workload provided on a daily/weekly basis and provide Service Delivery Coordinator with outcome of days’ workload
  • Manage time effectively to optimise number of appointments booked
  • Source contact details and site locations using search engines and historical site visit data
  • Contact sites to arrange Installers visits and provide Installers with additional site information as required
  • Confirm appointment dates and times with site contacts via email and phone
  • Input appointments booked into the appropriate Installers diary, ensuring all required information is detailed
  • Effectively track installations and maintenance cases and provide proactive progress updates to customers
  • Provide proactive, consistently helpful, efficient and courteous customer support at all times on telephone and email, escalating to Energy Service Coordinator where appropriate
  • Proactive use of telephone and email to maintain a clear audit trail

Skills and experience required:

  • Experience of working in a targeted environment
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Relevant customer service and administration experience
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Strong, clear communication skills
  • Experience of working in a targeted environment
  • Attention to detail is paramount
  • Flexible, helpful and enthusiastic approach

Minimum qualifications required:

  • GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English grade C or above
