EV FAQs for Public Sector
Are you in the public sector and looking to install electric vehicles? Here are some of our frequently asked questions.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How many chargers can I have?
Depends on capacity available and site’s needs. We can look at load management to maximise the number of chargers we can install onsite.
What happens if i don't have EV data?
It makes energy procurement and management difficult. Without EV data you will struggle to identify energy wastage, spikes and procure efficiently.

What's involved in Stark monitoring existing EV installations? Are there installation or operating fees or both?
Both, we offer a fully managed and maintained service, so it’s light touch for clients. We identify faults before they impact site, automate bespoke reporting, manage tariffs and user profiles.
What does the fully funded route mean?
Stark will fund the whole scope of works, including management and maintenance. This would only be available for public facing chargers.
How do you compare to other providers?
We are the only Charge Point Operator who is also a data collector in the UK.
So we are the only ones who can provide HH data from your EV chargers.
We can then separate this data from your building data to ensure clear reporting.
We also offer the whole turnkey solution from capacity upgrades all the way through to commissioning and ongoing management of the chargers.
