World Photo Day Competition 2025

To celebrate World Photo Day on 19 August, we’re launching a photo competition open to everyone — whether you work at Stark or not. Show us your world through your phone, from the office to the open road. Four categories and lots of chances to win.

You have from 1st to 18th August 2025 to snap your photos and make your entries.

Categories

For the first time, we’re opening up the competition to UK residents as well as Stark employees. It’s an exciting chance to share your view of the world and join in World Photo Day 2025.

All 2025 entries will be showcased on our website and social media — your photo might just steal the spotlight.

Stark Employee Categories

Category 1: Stark In the Field

Think Stark Vans against rural or urban backdrops, field teams arriving at locations or equipment and installations in outdoor settings, or site works in unusual or interesting places.

Category 2: Stark At Work

Think Office life, Home offices, and behind-the-scenes. Maybe office moments or collaborative spaces. Home office setups or even work-life balance in action.

Open To Everyone

Category 3: Journey To Work

Celebrate your commute or travel moments to and from work. Maybe you see gorgeous sunrises or scenic routes, or interesting industrial complexes, or public transport perspectives.

Category 4: Sustainability In Action

Showcase your eco-friendly choices and environmental actions – big or small. These could be your personal or business activities – solar panels, EV charging or recycling and reducing waste in creative ways. Show us the actions that you do – or see – which make an environmental difference.

How to enter

1. Post your photo on LinkedIn

One photo per post, please – no collages or multi-photo posts

2. Use Hashtag #StarkPhoto2025

We will use this hashtag to locate your entry so make sure to use it and spell it correctly. If we can’t see it under this hashtag, it will not be counted.

3. Tell us the category you are entering

Put it in the post so we know which one you’re going for.

4. Follow Stark

Make sure to follow the main Stark account (linked here if you need it)

Prizes

We’re giving away 1 x £100 Amazon voucher for each category winner, and a runner-up in each category will win 1 x £25 Amazon voucher.

Winners will be tagged in a Stark post on Friday 22nd August 2025 so look out for that.

You’ll need to contact the team at [email protected] from your work email within 10 working days to claim your prize.

Don’t forget:

• Consent – Always ask for consent from any identifiable colleagues before posting
• Confidential – Avoid showing confidential information
• Credibility – Keep it professional

• Competition is open to UK residents only, aged 18+. Some categories are restricted to Stark employees only. Members of the judging panel or their families are not eligible to enter. We may check or ask to validate your eligibility.
• The entry period is between 1-18 August 2025 only
• Winners will be selected by a Stark panel based on creativity, originality, and category relevance. The judging panel does not include directors. Judges’ decisions are final.
• Winners announced on Friday, 22nd August 2025, in a LinkedIn post on Stark’s account. Winners will be tagged/mentioned in the post. Winners have 10 working days to claim the prize. Claims must be made using a work email to [email protected] Prizes not claimed in the timeframe may be reassigned.
• Vouchers must be accepted as awarded and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Entries without following the Stark LinkedIn account, using the hashtag, stating which category, or made outside the timeframe will not be counted.
