Rules for our World Photo Day Competition 2025

Eligibility

• Open to UK residents aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.
• The Competition includes categories restricted to Stark employees and categories open to everyone
• Stark reserves the right to verify eligibility
• The Stark judging panel and immediate family members are excluded from entering

Entry Requirements

• Entries must be posted between 00:01 on 1 August 2025 and 23:59 on 18 August 2025 (UK time).
• All entries must be posted on LinkedIn.
• Entries will be located & identified using the Hashtag #StarkPhoto2025
• To enter, you must:
  • Follow Stark on LinkedIn
  • Post your photograph on LinkedIn
  • Use the hashtag #StarkPhoto2025
  • State which category you are entering
  • Submit one photograph per LinkedIn post
• Categories: Entries must fit into one of four categories:
  • Stark Employee Categories (Stark employees only):
    • Stark in the Field
    • Stark at Work
  • Open Categories (Everyone welcome):
    • Journey to Work
    • Green Living
• Entrants may submit multiple entries (one per post) but each entry must be a separate LinkedIn post. 
• Entrants must be eligible for their chosen category.  
• Entries that do not follow Stark on LinkedIn, use the correct hashtag, state the category or are posted outside the entry period will not be considered. 
• Stark accept no responsibility for technical failures, lost entries, misspelt hashtags, or other issues beyond our control. 

Image Requirements & Rights

• Entrants must be the original creator and copyright owner of all submitted photographs.
• Images must not contain:
  • Offensive, inappropriate, or discriminatory content
  • Copyrighted material owned by third parties
  • Identifiable people without their consent
  • Content that violates LinkedIn’s terms of service
• By entering, you give Stark permission to share your photo on our social media, website, and in our marketing materials. We’ll credit you as the photographer where possible.

Judging & Selection

• Entries will be judged anonymously by a panel of Stark employees.
• Photographs will be assessed on:
  • Creativity and originality
  • Relevance to the chosen category
  • Overall visual impact
• The judging panel’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the winners
• Judging will take place between 19-22 August 2025.

Prizes

• Stark Employee Categories (2 categories):
  • Category Winners: £100 Amazon UK voucher each
  • Runners-up (1 per category): £25 Amazon UK voucher each
• Open Categories (2 categories):
  • Category Winners: £100 Amazon UK voucher each
  • Runners-up (1 per category): £25 Amazon UK voucher each
• Vouchers are non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash, and must be redeemed by the winner personally.
• No alternative prizes will be offered.

Winner Notification & Claiming

• All Winners will be tagged in an announcement post on Stark’s LinkedIn page on Friday 22nd August 2025.
• Stark Employees will also be notified by direct email.
• All Winners must email [email protected] from their work email within 10 working days of the announcement to claim their prize.
• If a winner does not respond, Stark reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
• Winners may be required to provide proof of identity and confirm eligibility.

Content Usage & Publication

• All entries may be featured in an online gallery on Stark’s website.
• Entries may be shared on Stark’s social media channels beyond the competition, with attribution
