Why choose Stark for your EV charging infrastructure?

Are you facing challenges in setting up EV chargers for your development or business premises?

There are several factors that you need to consider, such as checking whether the existing power supply capacity is sufficient to support the new EV charging infrastructure.

Working with Stark will provide you with a number of benefits, and we will always put you first.

Choosing the right EV chargers

The number and type of EVs you need to charge on your site are important in determining the number of charge points and electrical demand required for your EV charging infrastructure.

As speeds for charging EVs ramp up with tech improvements and more EVs on the road, it’s even more critical to get the right set from the start.

You might not be sure exactly what types of chargers you need, but that’s not a problem.

When you contact us to talk about your EV charging infrastructure, you’ll get access to our team of experts, who will assess your requirements and provide you with advice, recommendations and the best solution.

We’ll handle your network upgrade

Once we’ve determined the number and type of chargepoints you need, we’ll check the power supply at your site to determine if it can support the increased demand your charging infrastructure will put on the network. If we find that it won’t, then a network upgrade is required.

At this point, you’d usually need to file a connection application with your Distribution Network Operator (DNO), who can take anywhere from five to 65 days (depending on the size of your connection) to issue you a quote.

But, when you work with Stark, we handle this all for you.

Stark Infra are an accredited Independent Distribution Network Operator (IDNO), and our Stark Works division has over 20 years of experience in designing and building new gas and electricity networks.

We do everything in-house

We understand the importance of a streamlined process. By offering everything you need for your EV charging infrastructure in-house, including strategy, installation, adoption, and maintenance of your chargers, we ensure that your project progresses swiftly.

There are a number of benefits to you:

1. Things move more quickly. Our teams only need to talk to each other to progress your project, instead of waiting for responses from third parties.

2. You only need one point of contact. Rather than liaising with multiple businesses, you know exactly who to get in touch with if you need to speak to someone.

3. It’s more cost-effective. As an IDNO, we are able to own and operate the networks we build, allowing us to pass on a cost-saving to you. Find out more about what being an IDNO means here.

And if all that wasn’t enough, we are more than just an installer, we also provide the essential data and analytics you need to monitor your electricity consumption, giving you the information you need to take steps to reduce costs and your environmental impact.
